Fila Body Toning System (giveaway)

Exercise, Giveaways, Reviews

Id never lie to you (or the company) and a few months ago Id probably have said a big ole NO to doing this product review.

It wasnt so much I was against ‘body toning apparel’ I would most likely have thought interesting. not for me. responded with a polite no & never pondered the sportswear again.

Flash forward to my current workout derailed state and quite frankly nothing sounded MORE appealing than a pair of bootcut body toning pants to this MiznotdoingmuchcardioFit.

I wore em.

I walked in em.

I hung out with Rodney Yee via DVD in them.

I adored them.

But let me back up.

First the pants:**

To my SHOCK the Tornado saw me in them & immediately said I like how those pants look on your bumbum (!)

Pretend yoga-pose.

I wore em with sneakers for my gym-stretching session. Still love!

The obligatory rear view so you know what that’s like

(**the husband has been traveling so I was compelled to self-shoot the photos. Because I adore you all immensely I asked a complete stranger to take the booty-shot. She thought I was a complete nutball.)

The bottom line:

What I loved about the Fila Body Toning System pants:

  • They lifted my booty. Sure the Tornado’s comment was exceedingly weird unusual, but I do have to say my 41 year old bumbum was less longing to meet the backs of my knees in these pants. TMI? Probably—but it’s true. And really who DOESNT wanna work out more when they already LOOK better
  • They werent sausage casing TIGHT (I feared. I feared.)  They were snug but comfy.  In addition there was zero camel’s toe. Dont lie to me ladies you were wondering.
  • The body toning pants made me feel energized. You may feel free to laugh (I did. at myself) but the pants reminded me I had leg muscles! Do they *really* do this as they claim: The compression makes the muscles work harder and will get up to a 50% increase in the work the muscles are required to perform. I almost dont care.  Even if it’s only placebo effect I will take it.
  • I loved them to workout in & with platform flip-flops to hang out in. I felt fancy ambling around town  in them and not as though Id just donned flip-flops with my workout wear.

What I disliked about the Fila Body Toning System pants/in general:

  • Lack of color Yep. Probably just me but I’d love a pair in olive or deep purple.
  • I longed for pockets. Funky jean-style back pockets (yep. again. could just be me.)
  • Price. They aren’t cheap, yet if they work do we (the royal) really care?  Tough to say.  Im one, even in this economy, to invest in my workout gear. I have found the cheap stuff does not hold up.
  • Im not one of their ‘real women models’ (yes I said it).

So there you have it.

My thoughts and, as sometimes happens up in herre, you dont have to simply take my misfit word for it.

You may be entered to win an item from the Fila Body Toning System for the lowlow price of a comment below.

  1. Leslie says:

Heck yes you need to be a model for them.
Me? I need the system and would love to try it out.
I agree even if I only think it works that’s better than my Walmart sweats.

  2. Natalia says:

Ha ha! I love the pants! You look great in em. Love that asked a perfect stranger to take a booty shot! :) And loved the info on the, ahem, uh, toe thing….yes I was wondering!

  3. Kim says:

I have seen this kind of thing in magazines lately and am curious.

I’d like a body toning running skirt (or is that just a girdle? LOL).

  4. Heather says:

    You rock those, Mizzy!
I’m laughing at what the Tornado said, too.
Out of the mouths of babes.

  5. Skinny Sushi says:

I’m super interested in trying these and really need an update to my workout wear. I checked out the site and if I could buy my own stuff these pants would definitely be on my list.

  6. Julie @ Honey B says:

They look great! I agree that when you feel good about how you look at the gym, you want to work harder. Whatever works! I also sometimes wear my workout gear out on errands, anything that will make it more likely for me to get to the gym!

  7. jen (@jeninRL) says:

Would it be inappropriate for me to tell you how HOT your bum looks?!?

I am with the Tornado on this one!!

If I could wolf whistle through the computer I would!!

    ya know I love ya!

  8. Erica says:

They look like great workout pants to me! I have a pair of Fila running capris that I love. My fear with pants ( as always) is that they will be wayyyy tooo long for my little 5’1″ body.

    • Miz says:

Ill admit I was really surprised the bootcut pants werent miles too long. I anticipated having to, uh, trim them :)

  9. Roxie says:

These are exactly the kind of clothing I wear around the house, especially if I’m trying to get back “in the groove”. Wearing floppy, baggy sweats just makes me feel floppy and baggy. For Day One Back On Track, get up, make the bed and pull on these pants, put on some good music and get the day started right!

  10. Aubry says:

    You and those platform flip-flops.
I would love to rock these at the gym and then borrow the flip-flops ;)

  11. dragonmamma says:

    Hell yeah they look great!

Perky butt? No camel toe? Sign me up!

  12. amanda says:

These pants look nice and always looking for a better pair to flatter my flat butt. BTW, my hubby always takes a picture of my flat butt every vacation we take.

  13. Nettie says:

Girl you want to make these into jeggings with those pockets and the flip-flops.

    OH good idea Fila.

MizFit body toning stretch pretend jeggings.

    Have a great Thanksgiving.

  14. @amylburford says:

So would these be a two in one purchase? I lovely lululemons for working from home wear but after a killer leg workout or run i will sometimes even sleep in compression pants to help soreness. Would think these might help promote blood flow and recovery.

I might have to try them and see! Thx for the review of no camel toe. Hahah! Love it!!

  15. Reen says:

Like Like Like! They do look great on you, Miz. I’m not sure anything is going to prevent “my booty” from going south, but I love the look of them! I love Fila!

  16. Misty says:

i was just wondering about these new cloths and here you are with a review…it would be interesting to try them and who wouldnt love the booty shaping you say they have going on or better legs if they really work

pockets would be awesome …seriously shouldnt all work-out pants have them

  17. Joanna Sutter says:

I long for these pants! I live and work and workout in workout wear. And my style? Form fitting, black, and whatever makes my booty look good…like these pants.

  18. Paige (Two Runners And A Brown Dog) says:

I think the Fila Body Toning System sounds great…I would love to try them for lifting weights. It seems like the close fit (toning) would make the muscles feel really good!

  19. Andrea@WellnessNotes says:

Pants that make you feel energized? Sign me up! I need all the energy I can get as I seem to have none left… :)

They look great on you. And, yes, you should totally be one of their real life models!

  20. Lisa says:

this post is very interesting :)
    I want them.

  21. runblondie26 says:

Yes, they fo make for a nice rear view. That’s enough to make them worth buying. I’d probably go for the resistance capris…I think I’d be standing in a puddle of fabric if I bought the full length.

  22. Robin says:

Cuteness! My butt can use all the help it can get! (There are only so many squats one can do…..)

  23. jill says:

If they really make you feel energized, I’d love them! I’m a new runner and one of my favorite things so far, is getting in my running “costume” and actually feeling like a runner (even if most of the time it’s hard to consider myself one). They also look like they’d be great for yoga! :)

  24. Jody - Fit at 53 says:

Hey, I think you & I should both be “real models” - a shoot together & then I could met you for real! :-)

I love the idea of these workout clothes & I have read that the compression wear does help with running & such! AND, a booty lift! Heck from a 53 year old that tries her best but age does fight back, would love that booty lift… plus I so need new workout wear & I love the look & your comments about these!

  25. Wifey says:

Not entering (I have a pair and some to giveaway, too), just admiring your booty.

    Winks & Smiles,

  26. BrookeNotADiet says:

    I’m LOVING these pants!

If they’ll make my nonexsistentbum look good, I NEED them! Haha

  27. Kris says:

Anything that can improve the look of my flat 50 year old bum plus give me some extra energy sounds like a win win to me!

  28. Alissa says:

I would love to have some more flattering workout clothes and those pants definitely look flattering on you!

  29. Ana says:

I want those capris. And I want you to be a ‘real model’ for them too.

We need more of us 40+ women represented!

  30. Irene says:

First off, I have the worst butt ever, so any pants that can lift them up is an absolute necessity.

I would love these pans if they fit comfortably, were soft, and did what they said they do. For $55, I am not keen to buy them, but who knows. If they worked, then, like you said, it’s an investment.

  31. Diana - Scale Junkie says:

Really is there such a thing as TMI among friends? I doubt they come in my size but if they could keep my gut and my butt in place, without a toe and feeling thermo-nuclear tight…damn, what a miracle.

  32. angela says:

I agree with the Tornado, your bumbum looks great in those pants. ;) I’ve been looking for comfy yoga style pants that look good enough to wear all the time. Can’t say I’d complain about them also doing a little workout of their own on me while I just walk around and exist either. Definitely interesting. ;)

  33. Susan EB Schwartz says:

hmm, what i’d love best about these work out pants…that they inspired another real and hilarious MizFit blog!

  34. Cathy says:

I would love to try them for running and yoga.

  35. Kelly Olexa says:

OMG I am laughing so loud at the camel toe comment!! LOLLOLOL
I have seen these ads and wanted these pants so badly. Now that I’ve read YOUR review, I’m so going for it. And may I say it, your BUM looks YUMMY!! HAHAHA

  36. Cyndi @ Weightless Life says:

Those pants look ridiculously comfortable. And yes I always worry about camel toe in pants like that.

  37. Destination:Athlete says:

Anything that can add a little ol’ motivation to my booty is more than welcome. I do like the range of sizes they have (finally, something more than S/M/L) but I think colors would have been nice too!

  38. deb roby says:

The lack of pockets are a HUGE deterrant for me. I need a pocket (or 2) just large enough for my cell phone and some business cards but I NEED it. Where is the cell supposed to go when wearing way-too-many women’s pants??

  39. Jessica says:

LOVE it! And your booty does look divine in those pants! Did you hear that we’ve just announced we’re going to be casting for REAL Women Fila Models again in 2011? We just opened up the list for folks to express their interest. http://bit.ly/FILAemail

Love you and hope to see you in person sometime soon!

*disclosure that Fila is a client

  40. merrymishaps says:

I’d be most interested in seeing if the compression helps sore muscles AFTER a workout!

  41. Allison says:

I like that they seem a little long because I am tall and that is definitely an issue for me. I don’t really expect pants to help me to get tone, but if they help me look tone, that is great.

  42. Shelley B says:

Dayum, you look amazing in those pants…and you look fantastic on a normal day, so the fact that these can make you look like this? WOWZA!!!

I love the compression for a cardio workout - when things (yes, my thighs, butt and stomach) are jiggling, it’s distracting and I don’t feel as good about myself. With compression I definitely feel more athletic. I’d love to try something out from their system!

  43. Lizzie says:

I can’t believe you said camel toe.
    But I was curious ;)

    You rock.

  44. Melissa says:

After 3 babies, I need a pair of these. And, I’d probably spend the extra money if it makes me look half as good as they make you look!

  45. Stephanie says:

I was really wondering about these pants and if really work. They look awesome on you and I can’t wait to get some for myself! I love Fila too so I knew I couldn’t go wrong! Thanks for the pics too—your bum looks great btw!

  46. Beth says:

They look super comfy! And with most pants that I find super comfy, they inspired me to bring out my inner yogi…

  47. Stephanie says:

Love it love it love it!!!! These pants look awesome and I can’t wait to get some for myself! Thanks for the pics too btw-your bum looks GREAT! I love ‘good butt’ pants!

  48. cammi99 says:

I might even pay for these cute pants. A give-away-thank you!

  49. JourneyBeyondSurvival says:

Well, if they are the perfect length for you, I am worried about me. I need at least a 34″ inseam. Also, I AM the sort of real woman model. I’m worried my curves would be a little porno in those. Hmmm.

  50. Jody says:

I like the idea of the compression to hold and lift the booty. I’d love to give these a try and I’d probably live in them. lol.

  51. Liz says:

I will take them and pay for them if I will look like you LOL

  52. Colleenzo says:

I’d love to FINALLY have a high-quality pair of workout pants! The stuff I buy now just feels so flimsy compared to what I imagine a pricier pair must feel like!

  53. RG says:

I desperately need new workout pants! And I’ve never had high-quality stuff like that, wow. But for the commenter who asked about cell phones - I shouldn’t give it up, but a good sports bra will act as pockets in about 4 locations (two straps, front and rear). I’ve been known to stick frozen water bottles in two and my mp3 player in the 3rd.

  54. Jess says:

I never, ever comment, but I had to on this one. I thought this whole body toning clothing was borderline genius/retarded* (genius on the side of Fila and retarded on the side of those who thought this product would actually work)…but with your review, I may actually CONSIDER trying on a pair. Thanks!

*Obligatory PC disclaimer…I don’t mean “retarded” as to offend any one who is mentally impaired. I meant…If I keep commenting, I’m just making the hole deeper, huh?

  55. debby says:

Love that you can wear them around town after the workout. Which I do already, but these would look nicer.

  56. Cellabella says:

Cool giveaway! I’d love to try the pants, they look so stylish!

  57. charlotte says:

Ooh I like your bumbum in those pants too! (I also adore the woman laughing in the background!) I have to say I was super skeptical when I saw the adverts for these but you, I trust. Will look into them.

  58. Kim says:

Since I’m actually starting to workout now, I really need to get some workout wear. I would love to try these pants out!

  59. Laurie says:

I just tried these pants on today and they were AMAZING! I already put them on my Christmas list. I feel like having these pants will give me a little boost in my walk around the block!

What I love most about these is that they are very slimming and very comfortable!! Like I mentioned earlier, these would give my workout a much needed boost!

  60. Roni says:

I’m IN! My but can use some serious toning and no.. it’s NOT only due to the other human being in my abdomen. lol

  61. Lauren says:

I’m curious to see how they work. Compression makes me think of the compressions socks some like to where while running/recovering. I wonder if it’s at all similar?

But I’m always down for more toning!

  62. RunToTheFinish says:

i have wondered about the new tops and pants that are coming out… I could see that maybe by being tight they remind you to contract your muscles and that would cause toning

  63. Ann says:

Fascinating - I was thinking they were like spanks, but it sounds like in addition to the instant shaping, they have a claim similar to those toning shoes?? Well, whatever works!

  64. Amanda Hinderliter says:

I am asking for workout gear for Christmas! I always seem to need new pants.

  65. Katie says:

I want! I want! I need to upgrade my baggy shorts/ratty t-shirt gym wear. Especially now that there is a cute trainer there…. ;)

  66. Heather L. says:

    Sister you ROCK those pants.
    I had MOCKED those pants.
Now I want to try them.

  67. Annie says:

I always thought that toning pants were all a hoax but it’s awesome to know that they are actually different from regular workout pants!

I would definitely love to get a pair of these, I LIVE in yoga pants

  68. Foodie McBody says:

Those pants are hottt! I want booty toning pants! Pleeeeeeeeeeze?

  69. keyalus says:

I like the compression aspect of the pants. Could be useful for running recovery!

  70. Nocona Williams says:

I think it is a great step in the right direction to all of us who are bordering on having a great workout routine. Put them on and you get instant motivation. I can’t wait to get a pair!

  71. Patrick says:

Cool giveaway. Lotsa Fila gear in our house; kids are all athletes. I wouldn’t look as good as you in these, but a boy can dream can’t he?

  72. Seymone says:

Every fitness magazine for the last few months have been showcasing this line.. I must admit I am very intrigued, but the price is holding me back. I would love to try these to see if they actually work.

  73. Kyra says:

Miz, you look HOT in these pants. Tornado was right, and if it’s from the mouths of babes, it must be true. And you’re right, who doesn’t want to work out when they already look better. And wondering? Good to know.

  74. Candy says:

Miz, I’m afraid (well not really afraid, but you know…) you’d look hot in a burlap bag, but you really rocked those Fila toners!! Makes me want a pair of my very own!

  75. Ali says:

I am with you Miz. If I think I look good my whole workout is better.
You look amazing. I need these ;)

  76. Cammy@TippyToeDiet says:

Who knows how much real toning they do, but if they work for ‘mental toning’, I’m all for it. :) When I first started exercising, back when I only worked out at home, I had a pair of pants that fit similarly, and even though I weighed 100 pounds more than I do now, I *felt* athletic. Especially as my quads started to develop shape. Fun memory.

  77. Barb says:

Yes, they look great on you, MizFit, but how would they look on a 55-year old arse? I’d love the chance to put them to the ultimate test…

  78. Kris @Krazy_Kris says:

You had me at bum-bum & having a stranger take a pic of your arse - and a fine one it is indeed. I gotta check these out, I LURVE the cut!

  79. Drazil says:

Seriously - I’d wear workout pants in the shower if it were allowed. I could live in them. And FILA? Was soooo one of my fave brands….pick me me me….LOL

  80. Nelda says:

Oh you did NOT say camel’s toe, Miz!!!
I can not hear those words without having flashbacks to a few bad one’s I have seen at the gym.

Love the pants and grateful not to see any toe.

  81. melissa @ the delicate place says:

i’d rock those pants! i love the idea of a nice flexible pant without being so tight you’re exposing your lady bits to the world. way to go FILA haha

  82. Joy says:

I looooove those! I want them even if they don’t work thinking they would would help!

  83. Lindsay says:

I may be moving to Texas. If I don’t win can I borrow yours?

I appreciate your reviewing these as I’ve been curious.

  84. A.B. says:

I’m kinda skeptical about the “muscle works harder” thing, but I am very willing to test drive a pair to find out for my self! ;D They look fantastic, too!

  85. Dana says:

    You = amazing
    Me = amazingly flabby

    I want a pair ;) I’m convinced.

  86. Renee says:

I like the idea of holding my bum bum up. It is large and needs all the help it can getM

  87. Julie says:

I can always use another pair of workout pants…and a perkier booty!

  88. Charlie says:

I agree about the pockets. I think that is the ONLY way they could improve them. At least an MP3 pocket.

I have had my pair since a little before they were released, and have washed them MULTIPLE times (like prolly 50- cause I wear them for every stinking workout). Seriously, kids- these pants are TOUGH. No stretching out, they feel brand new when I put them on, and for those of us with belly hangovers, they hold tummies in so they don’t bounce around. Nice touch.

    Worth every penny. :D

  89. Tammie says:

A would love a good pair of workout pants and helps you in looking firm. I am all for it. I think I would definetley like a pocket.

  90. Lisa says:

I addicted to lululemon .. But they certainly don’t work my leg muscles! And I’m in dire need of a booty lift!!
Would love the opportunity to try them!
    ps I have a u.s. address now:)

  91. Tina says:

Yes, I have to admit, they do look amazing. My theory is if you look good you feel good, feeling good leads to better and more positive results and attitude all around. It is nice to walk past a mirror or two and realize the good qualities externally that we have and these pants would do just that :)

  92. Gina says:

Don’t know if they’d actually tone me but if they made me look half as good as you do in them I’d love to have some!

  93. tj says:

Wow- I agree with Tornado- your bum looks great in those pants! Hawt Mama! I need some pants that make me look/feel/appear/turn me into a lean, mean, FILA BODY TONING queen. lol :)

  94. MJ says:

i am always looking for comfortable clothes to work out in, Fila makes some of the best. If these toning pants work I’d lose my mind!!! Look good=feel good.

  95. Tina says:

I am way down here so I don’t know if you will read my comment but I wanted to add I have seen these lots of places and laughed at the fool who would buy them.

I trust your opinion, Miz, and now I am the fool :) who wants to check them out for all the reason you shared.

Thanks for reviewing and for always being Unapologetically Yourself and honest.

    • Miz says:

I will always be brutally honest and have been surprised how many readers have emailed me REALLY?! you liked them that much?! or questions along the lines of: were you being serious? did you really like them?!

      I did.
and that’s all I can share with you.
My experiences and thoughts and the fact that Ive been washing and wearing and washing and wearing and washing and wearing since they showed up in my mailbox :)

  96. Hillary says:

    You rock those pants, Miz.

Way to represent for us older ladies :)

No need to enter me though as I’m not sure any of the styles are ready for my booty.

  97. Annie says:

    Happy almost-Thanksgiving Miz.

I am giggling at the woman laughing at YOU in the booty-shot above.

You spread love and light and laughter whereever you go.

    No need to enter me.

  98. JavaChick says:

There are many things I spend too much time obsessing about, but my butt is not one of them (oddly enough). However, I would probably try the toning pants if they were offered in a Petite length (just in case Fila is wondering). I’m always looking for a comfy & flattering workout pant, and I find options are limited when you are only 5 feet tall.

    Non-eligible Canadian commenter. :)

  99. Kim @ One Fit Mama says:

I agree with the Tornado - those pants make your backside look fantastic. (Um, hopefully that is not too weird coming from a relative stranger) — Moving on ….

If Fila’s Body Toning System can make my backside half as attractive, I think I am going to be asking Santa for several pairs of the pants and the shorts.

  100. Lara says:

I am curious about the capris as I am a big sweater and think I’d melt if I worked out in pants.

Here is hoping they have the same bootastic look on my bumbum :) as they do on yours, Mizzy.

  101. Debra says:

    Interesting pants… Happy Thanksgiving!

  102. Samantha says:

Heck yes you need to be a real woman model for Fila.
You are wise funny witty and smart.
    That’s a real woman ;)

I am curious if you’ve seen the capris!

I like those and the shorts.

  103. Samantha says:

Oh and no need to enter me I’m Canadian ;)

  104. Alyssa says:

I really want to try these out! My clients have been asking about them. So now I’ll tell them to “Go ask Miz,” lol!
    Thanks for the review!

  105. Beatrice says:

I can’t win but wanted to say I loved your review.

You’re my go-to for all the weird and unique stuff out there!

    I want these ;)

  106. Lori says:

I was surprised that you thought they “felt” different and “energizing” Now I’m curious… They look great!

  107. Joanna says:

You should have done this give away before Thanksgiving and had your winners b log about wearing them to Thanksgiving dinner ;)

I’d love to win these. My bumbum needs lifting!!

  108. Caitlin says:

I love the energizing aspect. If pants feel comfortable and fit well and make the booty shapely, IM ALL FOR IT!

  109. Jill Ackiron- Moses says:

From the rear, I’d like to  have achieve some distinct definition where  my ass and my thighs meet. If these clothes can perform that feat, then viewing my ” thutt” would be less heinous to passers by.
From the front- not having camel toe in a pair of workout pants would make all my  lips curve upward in a  smile ( which due to the fabulousness of these wonderpants would only be visible from the neck up)!
    Just sayin’…

  110. Rachel says:

I’d totally try those! Love your comment about how it might be all placebo effect but they make you just FEEL better. I fell in love with MBT shoes for the same reason…bought them because I heard they might help my back problems, and have continued to wear them ALL the time because they make me walk with a bounce in my step (and honestly do alleviate back pain), NOT because they are a “toning” shoe. I’m not sure if they’ve made my legs any more toned, but they make me enjoy my everyday walking more!

  111. Kerri O says:

You’re not one of their models? *gasp*
I could use these because while I invested in summer workout clothes, I don’t have much that fits for colder weather. Plus, I mean they’re cute, right?!

  112. Quix says:

Those look great on you! Between all your tweets and now this post of love, I’m tempted to check them out. I like my bumbum, but anything that can make it look better would be nice. Now the pants that could make my tummy pooch go away? Those would be worth hundreds to me, heh.

  113. Nicole @ Body By Beer says:

Huh, looks like Fila is coming out with a VFF type product? Skele-Toes

I’m intrigued by the toning tights

  114. Molly says:

    Heck yes to the POCKETS!
I love somewhere to put my itouch.

You look great in them, Miz.

  115. Katie R says:

Isn’t great when you LIKE how a pair of pants fits? It is such a treat :) When I find pants that fit well (any kind, from athletic to business), I am tempted to buy several pairs of them. You never know when you will find another good fitting pair…

  116. Joanna says:

I am with you! If I feel as though I look good I workout harder.

    You look GOOD!!

  117. Joanna says:

Have you seen the shorts or tried them?
Do they ride up when you workout?

  118. Lesli says:

Am I a child for wishing I had these to wear to Thanksgiving dinner??

    Happy Thanksgiving Miz!!!

  119. Laurie says:

Love the lack of camel toe and agree that quality stuff is better. I was prancing around town in my Lucy’s yoga pants yesterday and commented to myself (no one else was listening) that I should get some more because they really are more comfortable and attractive that the crap I buy at Target.
I hope you have a wonderful T Day.

  120. Trisha says:

I stumbled upon your website while looking for yet another review of these pants…just wasn’t quite sure….now I’m intrigued..You rock these!! I love that you asked a stranger to take the picture, makes me feel a bit more normal as I do things like this!!

  122. Molly says:

I think reebok makes these too?
    have you seen those?

  123. Nancy says:

I found you by googling Fila reviews.

    Cool blog!!!

I am shopping today for new workout gear.
Where can I find these in stores?

    Thank you.

  124. Darby says:

I have been looking at these for a while. I think I will like two things about them. The way they already make you look slimmer and if there is any improvement in muscle tone during my exercise videos. I run, but sometimes just do dance video’s at home, but never get the same burn. If these pants could ratchet up the intensity some that would be awesome.

  125. Katherine says:

I’m dying to try these! I’ve lost 60 pounds, and I’m working on toning. These sound like they’d be perfect.

  126. Ruth says:

Would LOVE these pants. That is all.

  127. Lynda Del says:

Those look great on you! I hope it does the same justice on me! My butt could use a lifting. Would love to win those pants for my workouts!

  128. Caren says:

I have an almost 41 year old bumbum and it’s about twice the size of yours. Of course, yours is tiny so mines not THAT big (having lost 90 pounds in the last year or so) Anyway, they look great and I’d love to try a pair, I’m always looking to update my work out gear.

  129. Tonya says:

Those pants look extemely comfortable. You look great in them. You are such an inspiration. Love your blog.

  130. Heather says:

I found you through google and your blog rocks!
I would love to hear if you thought these pants were too hot for running.

  131. Angie says:

I hadn’t seen Fila’s version of the Dove Real Beauty concept before.

It definitely makes me like the brand more.

  132. seattlerunnergirl says:

Pants that make my bumbum look better?? Hellz to the yes! (and thanks for the opportunity!)

  133. tony says:

What I like about the pants? The bumbum thing! I’d seent hese advertised and wondered about them. It’s great to read your review of them - thanks!

  134. Rebeca says:

If they make your “bum bum” look good then I’d love a pair

  135. elaine! says:

While I think the “body toning” thing is just a gimmick (yeah, you’re not going to burn more calories by wearing pants, unless maybe they’re weighted pants), I also think these are darn cute and would love to have a pair to wear to the gym! You’ve gotta love pants that give your booty extra beauty.

  136. Jasmin Hashi says:

I absolutely love the way the pants look on you and I’ve been dying to try them. I live no where near a Dick’s Sporting Goods store and the promo code I got isn’t working on the Fila website. I’m dying to try these pants and even become a real model. They’re so amazing!

  137. addy says:

    Sorry late to the party.
The pants look good on you. I worry trying to hit the gym in pants. I sweat and I mean SWEAT!! Wearing pants can be a problem for me. But, could be worth the try. And points for asking the stranger to take the pix. Much boldness on your part!!

  138. Aine says:

They look great on you! As for me, I need all the help I can get. :)

  139. Heather says:

    Hi MizFit,

I found your blog through a google search and I love it.
My BFF has these pants as well and wears them all the time.

I am almost 45 (!) and welcome anything that will stop my booty from joining the backs of my knees :)

    I love your writing.

  140. Shana Shed says:

Thanks for the honest review! You answered so many questions for me, and really make me want the pants more. I just started taking Hot Hula Fitness Classes to help workout my core area, so you always have to keep your tummy and butt tucked (or in my case sucked) in, and I heard the Fila Toning helps you with that. My goal is to have maybe at least a two pack or some definition in my abs by Spring Break! I’m hoping it can happen with a little assistance from Fila.

  141. Mel says:

    Thank you!!
This is the first review which anwered the question I was too embarrassed to ever ask.

    (Camel toe ;) )

  142. Caroline Calcote says:

I’m a “real woman model”, haha. After losing 110#, my butt could use some lift (despite five million squats and lunges). I want toning pants! (even if it’s only a placebo)

  143. Lainie says:

Good point. Whether they do anything or not as long as we think they do……and look good in them ;)

    Thanks for this Miz.

  144. Heather says:

I am (almost) always interested in the clothes you offer up here, because they’re things that I might love or might hate but won’t spend money on unless (until) I know I love them. That’s just how I spend, most of the time…

  145. Lilliana says:

Ooo I really want to try these! I need motivation to get back in shape after giving birth!

  146. Shana says:

I have been looking for a decent review on these pants! Thanks. This helps a lot!

  147. cheryl says:

I don’t own any Fila gear and when I first saw these I was like “Oh great another b.s. piece of overpriced workout gear with clever marketing” but your honest review and pics have actually swayed me! I’m asian with a toned but kinda flatish booty (even with all the dang glute work I do!)

    Thanks for the review!!!

  148. Katie says:

Pregnant with my second child and this time I didn’t gain the minimal weight like I did with my first. I can’t wait to take advantage of whatever I can. Breast feeding, toning apparel… She’s due in 6 beautiful weeks. =D
I do have a little rant, however: It amazes me that some folks believe they can be couch potatoes and expect this stuff to work, despite what all the reports say. “Improves workout.” That means if you sit on your butt all the time, nothing is going to help you.
    Anyway. Thanks for the shot.

  149. Jen says:

I love the look of these. Is the first pair chocolate brown?

I have to confess that most of my workout clothes are Target specials, but I am as intrigued by the butt lifting thing as anyone. Though I have to say, my butt is pretty lifted on its own. Sir Mix-a-Lot would approve.

  150. Claudia Adams says:

I like the look of these pants, I do hope they making them in tall sizes with at least a 32 inseam we tall girls workout also. I do love a fitted and supporting gear that improves my hard won figure.I lost 30 pounds and 4inches in my waist alone and at least 1-2 inch every where else Run,biking, kayak, power walking, roller blade, weights and etc. I consider summer fun as running 6-8 miles and kayak 11 miles. The more flexible my athletic gear is the better,if I can go run the hop in my kayak and feel that my gear doesn’t loose shape if I get a little wet.
